Long bio
Ifunanya is a medical doctor, a project manager, and a data analyst whose online brand name is Dr. STM. She believes that the world, just like our body, is a coalition of systems, and to provide sustainable solutions, we must think systemic.
To support this systemic thinking in healthcare industry, she founded Novaros Care, a consultancy that helps healthcare professionals and organisations with data management, project management, and research solutions. Via this platform, she has supported up to 100 distinct clients over the past one year. She has equally authored and co-authored several scientific publications.
She also extends this knowledge to helping career professionals to navigate a balanced and fulfilled life by applying a unifying care of the body, mind, and soul. She dedicates her YouTube channel and most of her social media discussions to this cause where she shares tips to help make life easier and more meaningful as a professional.
She is affiliated with several NGOs and corporate organisations. She sits as a board member with Media Health Foundation and volunteers with Heal for Africa Initiative and Dinak Strategy Consulting, where she supports the works of the organisations using her multiple skills and talents.
She acquired her medical degree in 2016 from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University where she graduated as the best in her class and equally bagged several reputable awards on her induction day. She also has several certifications in public health, data management, and project management from reputable international bodies including University of Washington, West African Institute of Public Health, and Project Management Institute.
Ifunanya is passionate about seeing women excelling and breaking boundaries in their fields, hence you’d commonly see her involved in projects that promotes gender equality.
Outside work, she enjoys singing and partaking in various outdoor sports especially volleyball or table tennis, and if you catch her glued to a movie, then it’s likely an action movie, a sports show, or a food show.
